MODULE 1.
Interpersonal skills
Interpersonal skills are the qualities and behaviors we exhibit while interacting with other people. The workshop addresses differences between self-esteem, self-awareness and self-knowledge. Participants will learn about their strengths and weaknesses, recognize personal skills and talents. By gaining this knowledge, participants will have better personal understanding, which can increase one’s self-esteem and they will learn how to deal consciously with their own emotions and reactions. Also, they will learn effective communication skills and types of communication, learn their personal boundaries and differences between healthy and harmful relationships.
MODULE 2.
Legal skills and human rights
Improve the basic knowledge and skills about the legal age, about citizenship, and European citizenship for a young adult. Useful information about personal documents.
MODULE 3:
Career and job-related skills
Career and job-related skills are one of the most important ones for getting and maintaining a decent job which can enable us with independence and additional sense of self-worth. In this unit we are dealing with various concepts that can help an individual to discover the right occupation and/or education for him/her as well as how to be more aware of the possibilities offered in their local communities.
Additionally, many practical information and tools are presented in order to help young people to effectively search for and get a job. Appropriate job-related behaviour and the employer’s expectations are also presented in order to provide insight into meaningful and successful working environment for a young individual.
MODULE 4.
Money Management
Money management refers to how you handle all aspects of your finances, from making a budget for where each paycheck goes to setting long-term goals to picking investments that will help you to reach those goals. Money management is not just about saying „no” to any purchase, but developing a plan that allows you to say „yes” to the things that are most important to you. Any amount of money can prove to be too little if you don’t have good money management skills.
MODULE 5.
Knowledge on Active Citizenship module
“Active citizenship is the glue that keeps society together. Democracy doesn’t function properly without it, because effective democracy is more than just placing a mark on a voting slip. By definition, participative democracy requires people to get involved, to play an active role … in their workplace, perhaps, or by taking part in a political organization or supporting a good cause. The area of activity does not matter. It is the commitment to the welfare of society that counts.”
